On Christmas morning, a little appliance known as a NUTRiBULLET was brought to our house. The idea was motivated by weight loss, to change how my wife and I feel day to day. In general we, (all of us Americans), eat so many heavy meals that we needed & wanted to make a change (we just don’t need this much food).
Juicing has it’s benefits and if you’ve been hiding in a cave over the last year, you should check out the documentary with Aussie Joe Cross. We however, wanted to try the NUTRiBULLET that utilizes the pulp vs. just the juice. You get all the benefit of “Juicing” plus the fiber in your diet that is typically discarded when juicing. NUTRiBULLET has a blog for recipes that has some really tasty smoothies.
For St. Patrick’s day, we tried this recipe. I was a little skeptical about the taste. However, after making a couple of unusual smoothies over the past three months, I think this one might be ok! There was some aftertaste maybe from the Yogurt. I recommend blending and drinking immediately to reduce the aftertaste.
